Privacy Policy
BBN Entertainment, Inc. ("the Service") has created
this privacy policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to protecting
your personal information and informing you about how we handle
it. This privacy policy only applies to transactions and activities
in which you engage, and data gathered, on the Services Member
Sites (collectively, the "Sites") but does not apply
to any other web site or offline point of contact between the
Service or any other company and consumers. Please review this
privacy policy periodically as we may modify it from time to
time. Each time you visit the Site or provide us with information,
by doing so you are accepting the practices described in this
privacy policy at that time.
Sign Up Form
The Service is an internet portal designed to provide an easy
and safe way to meet others, to research local clubs and bars,
find out about parties in your area, and much more on the internet.
None of the information requested can be used by the public
to identify a specific individual. This includes visitors, other
members, anyone not employed by the Site, its corporate affiliates,
or the financial institutions we use to process membership charges.
The Service gathers two types of user information: information
users submit to us and information not directly submitted by
users.
- User-Submitted Information: Public - We define Public
information as personal information that may be displayed
on the site. This information cannot be linked to a particular
user. Much of this information is optional, and meant to
be seen by registrants and subscribers for various purposes.
This may or may not include: customer-specified username,
gender, age, height, appearance, religion, income range,
occupation, preference/lifestyle information and general
geographic location.
- User-Submitted Information: Private - Private information
is defined as any information that allows others to contact
a user other than through the Site or allows the collection
of information about the user other than what is displayed
on the site. This information is gathered from members and
guests who apply for the various services our site offers.
This information includes, but is not limited to: e-mail
address, first name, last name, birth-date, credit card
number or checking account information for payment, a user-specified
password, mailing address, zip code and telephone number.
- Aggregate Information: Not Submitted by User - This is
information we collect that is not personally identifiable,
such as browser type and IP address. This information is
gathered from all visitors to the site. Your IP address
is used in the following ways: to help diagnose problems
with our server, administer our website and gather broad
demographic information such as the number of visitors from
a geographic area. We gather this demographic information
to assist us in tailoring our visitor's experience at our
site. This allows us to display content more specific to
the interests of our users and to display the information
according to their preferences.
Use of Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on a user’s computer
tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in
no way linked to any personally identifiable information while
on our site. We use session ID cookies and persistent cookies.
For the session ID cookie, once the user click on LOGOUT or
closes the browser, the cookie simply terminates. If the user
chooses to save their password on the log-in page, a persistent
cookie (a small text file stored on the user’s hard drive
for an extended period of time) is created. Persistent cookies
can be removed by unchecking the “Remember Password”
box.

The Service may contain links to other websites and the Site
is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content
of such sites.
Chat Rooms
The Service makes chat rooms available to its users. Please
remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas
becomes public information and you should exercise caution when
deciding to disclose your personal information online.
Security
The Service takes every precaution to protect our users' information.
When users submit sensitive information via the website, your
information is protected both online and off-line.
When our registration/order process asks users to enter sensitive
information (such as a credit card number), that information
is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software
in the industry: Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) with 128-bit encryption.
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information
online, we also do everything in our power to protect user information
off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive
information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only
staff who need the information to perform a specific job are
granted access to personally identifiable information. This
database resides behind firewalls and/or on separate computers
in order to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration
of the information under our control. No claim is made as to
the impenetrability of the system under unusual circumstance

Financial Information
We use your financial information to check your qualifications,
